Dio as seen in Shienryu.
Dio (ディオ Dio) is one of the bosses of the game Shienryu. He appears as the boss at the end of stage 4.
Profile[]
Unlike the other bosses of the game, Dio is a humanoid-like mecha just like Matoolor and Shienryu. If there's a "Chain of Command" on Shienryu's forces, then Dio is the second in command, since during the opening it is seen along with Shienryu implying this rank.
In Stage 8, Dio reappears to fight the player, using his previous patterns. He then treathens the player by charging his laser, but before he could do that, he gets utterly anahilated by a huge mega laser blast from Shienryu.
Curiosities[]
Dio gets brutally murdered by Shienryu`s mega laser blast.
- Dio's demise by Shienryu's hands is slightly mirrored in the "True Ending" routes of the XBLA port of Triggerheart Exelica and the Arcade Mode of Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced when Ver'mith Ennda attempts to kill Faintear Imitate.
- Dio runs away from the battle in Stage 4, this is also mirrored in Triggerheart Exelica as Faintear Imitate leaves in Stages 1 and 3.
